Pet Souls are purchased from the Marketplace, and will change your pet's appearance to look like a different pet. To reset your pet's Star Sign, you will need a Menggu Relic from the Marketplace, and your pet will need to be below Grade 5. Your pet's Star Sign affects its maximum stats and the skills it can learn. For 10 gold, you can change your pet's name. The rename button is located on the top left, next to your pet's name. In most cases, these buttons will also offer you the opportunity to buy the items needed to upgrade your pet. The Pet Training window has a number of buttons that allow you to upgrade some aspect of your pet. This opens a window that shows all of your pet's stats and gives you options to modify or upgrade it. Just talk to the Pet Master (Pet Master Ellan, Sunstream City or Pet Master Eikon, Divine Realm) and select "Pet Training".
Training is a way to improve your pet's base characteristics by using certain items such as Celebeans and Dragonfang Herbs.
